was plastered over the front page, the picture showing a big skull in the sky; a snake protruding from its mouth. My heart stopped for a second, realisation taking over. I gave them both a worried look and then proceeded to read the rest of the article.

"I want to kill him!" I said bitterly, sitting upright and moving my dripping hair out of my face.

"He's already dead."

"Don't you start otherwise I'll kill you, too!"

"Sleeping in the common room on the first day back," he chuckled, "come on, it's half two in the morning. You should be in bed," he said, holding my book.
