Van a empezar a ver desde este libro, ciertos matices con los cuentos de hadas desde otra óptica. Como un caballero andante diferente. Dazod is the Demon Prince (some already given the title "demon lord") has learned to not trust humans, but to kill them with no mercy, and not just humans, any species as well. However, when he travels to the human world one night he is chased and ends up wavering between life and death! Yet, he somehow survives with the help of a young human girl with golden eyes. Rules are stated that if a human finds out about you, you must kill that human. Somehow he couldn't do it, though this girl is rude to him, she doesn't believe him, so there would be no point. The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first. For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. The woman on the floor does not know how much she was framed and harmed by her naivety, nor did she know that this was the beginning of her misfortunes. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct.
