"So you're back?" he smiles knowingly at her from the hospital wing bed.

Hogwarts. The year, 1976. Before Harry Potter. Before Voldemort was defeated. Before the Second Wizarding War. Before the Marauders, Lily Evans, Severus Snape and so many others had died. This is back in the school days, where life may be seen as simple, yet growing increasingly complicated, choosing paths that will change their future. Choosing their sides. And not all will be on the same side.

This is my take on what could have happened during the time of the Marauders, Lily, Marlene , Alice and Snape. Watch out for mystery, arguments, unrequited love and choices that can make or break relationships during the fifth year of Hogwarts for these characters.

I have tried to connect my head canons with the little we have about the Marauders. This is my first ever book so any comments, votes or ideas to improve are greatly appreciated. 

Anyway enough of me rambling, if you've read all the way down here, um thanks, you might want to actually open the book now... and yeah.

As they grow up, some of their friendships fail to maintain platonic and become romantic, even with the most unexpected of people. But with the threat and worry of Lord Voldemort gaining power, the Zion's and Marauders find themselves in tricky situations, where they question their loyalties and priorities. He smiled slightly, his small dimples made him look so innocent and adorable. She breathed in and looked down at the paper in front of her, one thought protruding out from the rest, I will not fall in love with James Potter. --- In their final year at Hogwarts, Voldemort is on the rise, luckily though, Hogwarts is still safe... mostly. James and Lily are finally civil but Lily finds herself feeling something more that she can't keep denying. Remus is drowning himself in school work, blaming the upcoming NEWTs, but Sirius isn't convinced, could there be another reason for his constant avoidance? Meanwhile, a new arrival in school has easily made friends with all her fellow Gryffindors... except Marlene: determined to befriend the newbie, Marlene insists on spending more and more time with her. There could be more to all these friendships, but with the stress of NEWTS and a potential war on the horizon, will love blossom, or is it too dangerous to keep loved ones close? Mainly Jily, but wolfstar and Marlene x fem!oc slowburn fluff as secondary love plot lines :)

Many of the pureblood students echo the traditional sentiments of their parents, so what will happen when a talented young first year by the name of Tom Riddle joins the school? Will he travel down the path that we know of him and become the feared Lord Voldemort, or will the offer of friendship and love from the students of the marauders era be enough to sway him from his destiny? Follow Lyra Black (original character) and the rest of the next generation of The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black (Bellatrix, Sirius, Andromeda, Narcissa and Regulus) as they attend Hogwarts. As they struggle through familial control and expectations, changes within their society, love, friendship, house rivalries and their own inner demons, will the heirs of the Black line be able to maintain their once strong familial bonds as they get pulled in different directions? He has killed his best friend... HOW DO SO MANY PEOPLE EVEN WANNA READ THIS SHIT LMAO THANKS SO MUCH --- I'm aware of the ridiculous amount of spelling and punctuation mistakes but honestly I can't be bothered to go back and change it all. My writing style is completely different to what it once was so unfortunately this book won't be carried on.

She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better. I just haven't gotten around to editing the bad bits yet :( Credit to J.K. Rowling for the characters and parts of the plot and obviously Hogwarts fandom and Everything Harry Potter related. But, credit to J.K. Rowling. I mean- for everything other than my plots and characters too so.

Now, Sirius has made new friends and left his family in the past. Regulus knew things were different the moment Sirius didn't come home for the holidays in his first year. Now, Regulus is at Hogwarts, although his and his Gryffindor brother's relationship is completely different. Eventually, Regulus starts getting dragged along to the Marauderers hangouts and develops feelings for his brother's best friend. (Bare with me, the first 10 or so chapters are probably crap but it gets better) Tw: Please be aware of the fact that there may be intended mention of child abuse at certain points throughout the fic but I never directly write it. ~Wolfstar as a background ship~ ~I don't own Harry Potter, the marauders or any of the characters~ ~Don't correct any of my spelling mistakes, i didn't ask you to peer read my writing. ~ ~If I write something different than canon that's because it's fanfic and I can do what I want~ ~Don't like, don't read~
