Elliot is Dream's little brother. Dream has raised him since they were young. He would do anything for Elliot in order to protect him. Elliot hates being sheltered and will do whatever it takes to prove himself to his protective older brother. In a world where you either have power and cause chaos or have respect and keep the peace, where will Elliot end up? Will he stay loyal to his brother? Or side with his friends?

It's always the same. Whenever something happens, I'm never allowed anywhere near the action. He keeps George and me as far away from the battleground as possible. I understand that he wants to protect me, but he taught me how to fight months ago. He had me practice swinging my sword at him. Even though he had his armor on, I was terrified of hurting him. He kept assuring me that he was fine and that he wanted me to hit him. Eventually, I started to get pretty good. Next, he showed me how to aim a bow. It was super windy that day, and my hands were shaking so badly when I drew the bow back.
"Be confident in your shot, Elli." Dream reassured me, "If it gets windy, you cant start panicking because that's when you'll miss you'll miss your shot. Trust yourself. If you pull back a strong shot, the wind will be less effective."
I looked down at my feet and squared them shoulder length apart. I knocked the arrow and raised it to sight, lifting the bow to shoulder height. I pulled the string back to the anchor spot, against my nose and lips. Following the arrow down to the tip, I aimed my shot. My hands began to shake again, and I closed my eyes. Trust yourself, be confident in your shot. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. Without allowing myself another second to overthink, I sent the arrow into the target. Bullseye.
