All Jamie has ever wished for is a normal life. But normal isn't exactly possible where she's from.

Jamie Molina lives in Dunnsville, a run-down city in the heart of a country rocked by political unrest and violent terrorists hiding around every corner. And with society divided into loyalties, everybody has a side. Love is just about the last thing on her mind.

Jamie and Alessandra are from two opposing sides of the war, their families making most of the decisions for them. When the two, along with help from their friends, decide to form a rebel insurgency group named Idyll in the hopes that they can somehow bring peace to the unstable environment around them, sparks begin to fly. At first Jamie is reluctant to wear down her layers in front of a virtual stranger, and things aren't helped by the fact that they're being hunted down by the dictator and his party.

But when a raid on the opposition goes disastrously wrong, Jamie has to admit that she needs and trusts Alessandra far more than she initially claimed.
