Typical, I know- the female protagonist of this strangely typical cliche story agrees. Put the two of them together, and what do you get? Emma Carpenter is a classic example of a nerd. She does her homework, gets straight A's, reads all the time, and never gets in trouble. Then one day Emma gets detention with the one and only Dylan Evans. You could say he's a bad boy. He punches anyone who pisses him off, sleeps around with every girl he meets, doesn't attend school, and is in trouble 99.9% of the time. And of course Emma can't stand him. During detention there teacher assigns them a project for them to do together over the next couple of weeks. Emma is furious.
