Two queens, fighting for power.
The kingdoms of Aevalia and Eredora have been at war for the past three generations, clashing for  control over Ciris, a small kingdom with the most plentiful mines and  richest trading routes this side of the Zephenian sea. 
Queen Aurelia Lorelei Orphelias of Aevalia is only eighteen, a mere year younger than her enemy, Queen Fallon Blackwood of Eredora. Neither has been ruling for long, but the war doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.
When the Maeve Fortress, a military base of Eredora's set on a small island, is overthrown, allies, spies, and betrayals come into play, and the war takes an interesting turn.
