" Hello everyone this is Meredith it is 3:45 pm and we are live from NYC on the most tragic day in history. People have been wonder if there love one are dead I have a list so far so I will read them off one bye one.

***A few years later....***
Beep, beep, bee
I slowly roll over and hit my alarm off
I sighed great another day in hell.
Every since 9\11 I was given away to my Aunt Sue who been taking of my of me since it happened now it been 4 years and things have changed. No one never talk about my parents not even me or my aunt.  My aunt was a full time nurse that was barely ever home. She trusted me with he heart so I was aloud to be home for hours even a full day sometimes.

Back in 2016 my girlfriend used to write a book on her own, she was the reason I ever started writing anything so I'd like to thank her for that and even go as far as dedicating this book to her, even though we aren't a part of each other's life anymore. I started writing this book back in 2016 and since then I improved a lot. There was a time in 2017 - 2018 when I gave up on this book but in 2019 I finally decided to pick it back up and finish it off. Epilogue updated on June 29th, 2019. I know it's not the best book of all time but I'm proud of finishing it, even though the story and writing style doesn't match me as a person anymore.

It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)
