Everyone has a few ghosts of their own. Some just have more than others. It's what Georgia Taylor tells herself when she arrives in the rural town of Suffolk, Minnesota, with a single suitcase, a secret, and a determination to start a new life. It's what Marion Halverson lives as a reality as she becomes increasingly aware of the ghosts that haunt her city - and are mysteriously disappearing from it. With demons natural and supernatural closing in on Suffolk, Marion and Georgia become irretrievably entangled despite their best efforts to have as little to do with each other as possible.
