Abby Timber is a nerd. Luke Thomas is a troublemaker. What happens when these two forces meet? Nothing good. Abby doesn't like people and she doesn't understand them at all. Luke just wants to make friends but everyone is scared of him because of the incident. Abby gives Luke lesson notes to get paid from a teacher and Luke takes that as a mean of friendship.
Luke invalids her life and Abby couldn't be more upset. But when she finds out that having friends is actually a good thing and people aren't as bad as they look, she realized that she had a friend. Even though the friend she has, has one hot temper and disturbs her from her studies.
Everything clasps though when Abby sees Luke as her enemy after he scored the highest grade on the midterms score and she became second to him. Now in as a junior in high school, Abby competes for the title of number one. But in the process she becomes blind to the fact that Luke is actually in love with her.
