"Fire burns; but the cold preserves." An old proverb uttered by the gods in eons past. Peadar forgot everything about the surface world since his abduction. Now an asar, he will find the magi who tore open his chest and ripped out his heart. His journey will take him across the Seven Echelons of Hell, meeting old and new friends alike, leading to the discovery of a secret long buried by the gods and devils themselves.

When the surface world calls will he answer? Or will revenge drive Peadar to the deepest depth of hell?

Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. (MalexMale) The Crimson Immortal [Crimson Immortal Series: Book 4] by --CN--Writes
35 parts Complete Mature
The final curse is completed and the binding spell destroyed? Or was it? Zhil's still body was abandoned after Sei was taken. Six months have passed and now in the clutches of Mysia, Sei is distraught after learning the truth. Spiraling from the shock but also trying to escape. Mysia is in full control and one step closer to achieving her goals. While the Immortals believe Sei is on her side and must also be destroyed. How will Sei escape? How will the Immortals stop Mysia? Will Zhil return as a ghost? Preview: "I know you don't want to do this." Odi's voice wavered. Sei paused and tilted his head while meeting Odi's eyes. It was true and Odi finally confirmed it for Sei. He didn't want to hurt those Immortals. The whole time he felt someone inside him screaming at him and telling him no. They prickled at the back of his mind each time his nail scratched a cheek or when his blade sunk into a body. The voice wanted him to stop. But at the same time, he felt his hunger for revenge became more placated, making him more unfeeling and unmoving in his resolve. "It's okay," Odi's words were full of sorrow. Sei placed a shaking hand on Odi's shoulder and prepared to make the final blow. As he brought back his hand Odi whispered, "Adasi will save you." For a brief moment like a butterfly's wing brushing against a flower's petal, Sei's eyes expressed shock and his hand clenched Odi's shoulder. For the first time, someone else's words had made him stop. But as quickly as it came Sei returned to his emotionless state. Only Odi saw this and only Odi would know that there was hope for the Sei to break from his nightmare.
The Five Cursed Witches: Volume 4 - Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
50 parts Ongoing Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (ongoing) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love
