Safire Woods has always been different. She knew this, ever since she was a baby, she was different. And her family is to blame for it. She hates her power because every time she uses it, it turns her more and more into the monster inside her. For years now, she hasn't had to use it. But when the same evil that started it all threatens to return, she has no other choice.

Her family is part of an organization. Her and her family hunts demons. But on the last hunt something threatens her family and she has to leave. Now, all on her own, she tries to go through life. No one knows her secret and she wants no one to ever find out or they would probably try to kill her immediately. She left her family a few years ago, she used to hunt with her brother Sean but she left so, she can't anymore. Can she get through life without going back to her old past or will she change completely and change forever?
