Growing up is difficult. The body goes through changes. Hormones mess with you. Everyone gets bullied at one point by someone. For Zora, it was worse. Not only was she bullied at school, she was bullied at home, abused by her father. She was a disgrace in everyone's eyes. Constantly suffering, she needed something that would give her hope and make her feel good about herself. Though it caused her to be bullied even more, she didn't care. She would live her life out and proud as a woman, despite how everyone saw her as a man. Hope meant nothing to her until the day her father died, prompting her to move in with her mother and stepbrother in New York, away from her transphobic community in Georgia. But moving didn't mean everything would suddenly get better. Dealing with transphobic bullies and a stepbrother who doesn't understand who she is, Zora worried she'd always endure constant ridicule. But moving somewhere new could lead to better things, like an accepting mother, friends, and a boy who finds her to be the most beautiful girl alive. Change meant new things were going to come, and if the world wasn't going to change for her, she'd have to change it herself. I decided to write something a little personal. This is basically a little journal about being transgender and everything. If you read it that's great if you don't that's fine to. But if your just going to hate and be a jerk then just go ahead and not even be bothered to read this because I don't want any hate. If your also transgender and want to talk then you can message me here on wattpad but if I don't answer for a little bit I probably don't have Internet or its messed up. It tends to do that.

No! Don't prejudge the story by the cover. (Though this is the most appropriate and best one.) No! You need not like what I am saying. No! You need not agree with me. And ... No! You need not criticise my work. Of course, you can critically analyse my work. But, since I am not rude to any of you, since we don't hold personal grudges against each other, since I am just trying to express my views in a very friendly manner; you too need not be rude to me. If you do not like what I am trying to tell, you can definitely stop reading at that moment. If you want to share something or correct me, you can definitely do it, since I love learning. I humbly accept the truth that I know nothing. But whatever tiny piece of extra work my tiny brain does, I try to put it out in this huge world.

Have you ever had your own journal? One that you either are required to have or just have to get your thoughts out... I do, and it's for when I go to therapy. It was supposed to help soothe me and give me something to talk of when I visited my therapist. Coming from me it means a lot of writing of bad things, sometimes the bad things are all I think about and I write in it every day. It would be horrible if someone read it outside the circle of me and my therapist. I trusted her and that was it, no one else was a loud in. Sometimes I thought of someone who I would let read it but he would never pay attention to me, I was a nobody; in his world.
