Varian hasn't told his friends about his past. It's not the sort of thing you bring up in casual conversation, after all. However, the world isn't too keen on helping him keep his secret anymore. 

This is a short scene I'm going to add to my longer Varian and the Seven Kingdoms fic. It's been in my head for the past like week and a half so I'm writing it down to see if it'll get out and let me continue working on the fic as a whole.

Varian and the Seven Kingdoms (Varian's Seven Trials) by raccoonfather

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
