As special as the bond between Ash and Greninja is, there are many more trainers out there in the world, each with their own Pokémon that they share a special bond with, some due to certain circumstances, and others due to time. Surely, a handful of these trainers could do the same thing Ash did with his Greninja, right?

Our Promise, Our Future
After winning the Kalos League and keeping their promise, Ash and Serena continue their journey together. From new regions, to new Pokemon, to new battles and new experiences. Whatever lies ahead, they don't know, but they will face it together. This is a sequel to my Our Promise one-shot (which you can read if you'd like for some extra exposition but it's not required). I kept looking over it and I saw more potential in it, but instead of going back to that story, I decided to keep it a one-shot and make the sequel a multi-chapter story.
