MY YEARS WITHOUT YOU
"What's happening?, why are they taking you away? Say something already!! Please say something" I broke down in hot tears as I dragged him trying to set him free from their grip. "I'm sorry babe" he mouthed as tears dropped from his eyes. I watched them take him away and he didn't look back, not even at me. Was that it, just a sorry? No explanation?. I lay there in my confused state and let the tears loose. At that moment, I felt my world fall and shatter. ********* Amara had waited almost all her life to find happiness, one in form of love. Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do.
