It all started with a click of a bolt before which Amantha Herkane thought she was the most luckiest girl in the world. Then there was a break in at her house. Her best friend, Claire Hase, was helping her figure out who broke into her house because of which she was murdered. The police think Amantha did it and are searching for evidence to prove it. One of the officers is murdered because of it. The next one tries to pin the murders on her. Her parents are too busy in their work to care much about Amantha and she has no one at school to talk to about this either since her best friend's dead except a guy who she thinks killed her best friend. The new guy at school is acting weird and smells so bad she can't stand it. Her parents are hiding something big. Could it be the reason so many people are dead?
