After the death of C. C. Capwell, Mason and Julia move into the Capwell mansion as Mason takes on the role of Capwell patriarch running Capwell & Capwell Industries. Cruz returns to Santa Barbara after the disappearance of his and Eden's daughter, Adriana, but it's Chip, Cruz's son, now a detective on the SBPD, who takes on the case. And there are more antics from Gina and Keith Timmons in their quest to pull one over on the Capwell family, especially with help from Brandon, who'd come to regard Keith as a father figure. Eden, released from the mental institution after being integrated with her alters, Lisa and Suzanne, is shaken up after learning of her daughter's disappearance. And Kelly returns to Santa Barbara with her two children, Autymn and Wynter after finding her husband, Conner in bed with another woman.
