Zoey Frey is the twin sister to Clary Frey. On their 18th birthday, their lives get turned upside down. While Clary learns that her memories of an unknown world have been erased, Zoey is seeing this world for the very first time. She was the equivalent of a late bloomer, as she didn't get the 'sight' like her twin had at an early age. While learning the ropes of this new world, and trying to find their mother, Zoey meets Alec, a Shadowhunter who, like her, likes sticking to the rules, and not liking to get into trouble, like his adoptive brother Jace. The two also meet the High Warlock of Brooklyn, and they find themselves learning to work their way through their new relations with one another. ****I'm still figuring out things for this story, so the beginning might be a little rough****

Alec Lightwood is 21 years old and has promptly been arrested for being complicit in a group assault on a older gentleman that tried to commit rape on his younger sister, Isabelle Lightwood. The punishment is 5 years behind bars and not enough with that, the one who captured Alec is his very own brother, Jace Herondale. Jace has been a part of the NY police department for about a year now and even though his own sister was the victim this time, he can't choose family before his job. He swore an ode when he first got his badge and that is something he won't give up on that easy, not even for Alec. 5 years in prison may seem like an eternity and that is exactly what Alec expects it to be, but what he didn't expect was to meet Magnus Bane. He's 23 years old and arrested for murdering his very own stepfather, but the reason isn't what everyone thinks it is. It's much worse. Diagnosed with schizophrenia, Magnus doesn't quiet know what's real or not, but one thing he knows for sure is that ever since Alec Lightwood arrived at the prison, the voices in his head has begun to disappear. The question is, will Magnus be able to survive the silence?
