Ten years ago, Anastasia Orell saw her parents and little brother die in a car crash, leaving her orphaned, wounded, and most of all, with heterochromic eyes. Skip to the present, she's 16 and a brilliant student, but emotionally? Only getting by. She just doesn't care. Her life turns a complete 180 though, when she, in a horrifying fit of rage, conjures dual coloured flames from her hands and kills two delinquents. Shortly, a team of four people, The Archains, show up from The Organization, and soon she's involved in crime, justice, a story of past regrets, romance and adventure... the likes of which she never even dreamed of having. She just wanted perfect grades. Instead she got a criminal record and a taste for bloodlust. "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and justice for the deserving."

(PSA THIS IS MY ACTUAL BOOK I'M PUTTING ON WATTPAD) Anastasia's life begins to unravel when she notices something strange-her reflection lags, shadows move when they shouldn't, and the eerie feeling of being watched never fades. As she desperately clings to her sanity, she realizes the truth: she is being read. The more she resists, the more the world around her twists, bending to unseen eyes and hands turning her pages. Locked in a spiral of psychological horror and fourth-wall-breaking terror, Anastasia seeks solace in Carter, the only person who seems real in a world that no longer feels like her own. But as their connection deepens, so does the darkness that lurks beyond the pages. With each chapter, Anastasia teeters between love, madness, and the horrifying realization that she might not have a choice in how her story ends. Because if you're reading this... It's already too late.
