As childhood best friends, Percy and Annabeth are inseparable. Always together. They know each other better than they know themselves, or so they think. But hidden under the skin, much closer than they know- there are many confusing feelings, ones just aching to be realized. For the both of them.

But they're just kids. They have all the time in the world, right?

At least, that's what they think.

But one horribly fateful night, just days after Annabeth's fifteenth birthday, Percy disappears without a trace. And even though she never stops searching for him, she never sees him again.

For Annabeth, six years pass. Percy is gone, presumed dead. And she is stuck in place, surrounded but alone, mourning her best friend. She's never quite able to forget about him, the green-eyed boy who had cradled her heart so gently in his hands, before dropping it, shattering it into a million fragments.

What happened to Percy that night, so long ago?

And is he even still alive?
