Rey and Kylo both attended Yale School of Drama. While Rey was the social butterfly who always got the lead roles, Kylo was used to watching from the shadows.
But then, they both scored the romantic leads in one of Shakespeare's most romantic plays and what was meant to be a romance on stage, turned into something much more behind the scenes.
