~ Meet Wynn and Mei ~

Talented in facades, in deception. They were both comfortable in building different masks for themselves.

Wynn: a boy who was talented in fooling the eye. Through illusions, he knew how to trick the human eye in its visuals and colors.

Mei: a girl who was talented in fooling the body, and could listen to the ways of the body. The heartbeats, the breaths, and the sensation, she could feel it all.

Despite their abilities, both had left the world of magic, left to escape. Running for different reasons, now they both live in New York City, and try to forget about their pasts. Hidden in plain sight, they adjusted to the normalcy of a mortal world, and became versed in alternate methods of survival - cheap, underhanded methods unknown to humans' noses.

So perhaps by chance, or maybe by magic, they happen to meet. They meet, where both of them have constructed masks for themselves as they live in their city. In a world where both are trying to hide from a threat of magic, and where they are both versed in the language of deception, can they each find the face beneath?
