After Link had defeated the great Calamity, Hyrule was now finally peaceful. He didnt have to worry about Moblins, Goblins, or Hinoxs. All of that was finally gone. So, while on an adventure to finding a rare horse, he gets caught up in a thunderstorm that sends him dashing into the river below him.

When night came and the storm vanished, Link lay on the sandy shore just a few feet from the Zora bridge (I think that's what its called.) Still unconscious, a pair of footsteps comes closer to the unconscious blonde.
