Today sharing one more inspiring story titled Just Drop.💧
Once a Crow, clenching on to a piece of meat was flying to find a place to sit & eat comfortably.
However, an eagle started chasing it. The crow was anxious and was flying higher and higher, yet the eagle was after the poor crow.
Just then "Garuda" saw the predicament and pain in the eyes of the crow.
Garuda being the bird of wisdom spoke "Oh my friend!! That eagle is not after you to kill you!! It is after that piece of meat that you are holding in your beak. Just drop it and see what will happen".
The crow followed the advice of Garuda and dropped the piece of meat, and there you go, the eagle flew towards the falling meat.
Garuda smiled and said, "The Pain is only till you hold on to it. Just Drop it".
The crow bowed and said, "I dropped this piece of meat, now, I can fly even higher".
Do you carry the huge burden called "Ego," which creates a false identity about us, saying "I need love, I need to be invited, I am so and so.etc." ???.
Just Drop.
Do you get irritated fast by "others' actions" it may be a friend, parents, children, a colleague, life partner... and get the fumes of "anger "? Just Drop.
Do you compare yourself with others, in beauty, wealth, lifestyle, marks, talent, and appraisals and feel disturbed with such comparisons and negative emotions?. Just Drop
Just drop the burden.
And evolve & fly higher& higher.

As I took a seat beside her, I realised that she was awfully quiet.
"Is everything fine", I asked her.
Naina licked her lips and looked at me. For a few seconds none of us said anything and then finally she said-
"Aakash, my family has a second-hand car. I have been earning for quite sometime now but my savings aren't enough for even a bike. We live in a small apartment, which you have seen already, throughout my life I have shared everything...my books, clothes, shoes, cosmetics, even my laptop with my elder sister."
I did not understand why Naina was saying all this with a sad expression. To me, everything that concerns her always feels happy and worth being proud of. She continued-
"What I am saying Aakash, is that I am nowhere worthy, capable, or even habituated of a life where my husband owns a house with an elevator or where he wishes to buy me a helicopter. We are so different, Aakash. This scares me a lot".
Not even for a moment have I ever felt that Naina would be insecure of my living standards. But, I understood where she was coming from.
"Naina", I replied, "All this extravagant decorations, this lavish home, my expensive lifestyle, none of this means anything to me. It is a facade I have to maintain for the world. YOU ARE MY HOME".
