Every human being has desires such as money, fame, and so on. It can be put to good or bad use. But we also have dark, deep desires. We want things that society has told us are wrong, and as a result, we hide them shamefully. People view Dark Desires as demons; huge, dark, monstrous, and cannibalistic. However, these demons in the modern life aren't those huge, dark, monstrous figures just like how their ancestors used to describe. They now took the human form that is the embodiment of ethereal beauty that no human can ever resist, and in the end, those who fell to their trap will meet death.

Due of how conservative their family is, Joo Cheonsa's parents have always advised her not to be deceived by appearances. They had the belief that there are still demons in the earth, they'd do everything for Cheonsa not to be one those people who perished for "unexplainable causes".
