"Hell, I've loved you since the godly minute you introduced yourself to us! So, f!ck you for ACCUSING ME OF ABANDONING YOU! YOU LEFT! Y-YOU, Y-YOU l-left me..." he trails from an angered, urged tone to a stuttering, with a finger cemented in place directed at me.
"J-James," I carry forward in response but stop myself before I make an even bigger fool of myself.
I make my way off the couch, and drag my Godric heavy feet off the ground, my heart cramping every step as I hear him sniffling just eight feet behind me.
"I can't do this anymore James," and with that, I exit the common room and make my way -sobbing with all the restraint I can- to the girls' dormitory.
"Yeah, he asked me out yesterday. Fairest day of my life. Think about it, molls! 'Lily Potter'," I hear from the farthest corner of the room.
FOR GODRICS SAKE! He was pleading and playing. Wow, James... Wow,
"Bloody hell," whispers James. "I don't think I've ever seen that before."
All I can do is stare blankly at him.
"she was just so nice about it..."
Remus shakes his hand in front of my face. "I think he's experiencing shock," he says, a smirk on his face.
"Is he going to be okay?"asks Peter, worry etched in his face.
"'course I am," I say, shaking myself. "it was only a rejection. "
"yeah, but you like her."
bloody hell, I think he's right.
"bloody hell." my voice is hoarse. "I like her."
