"Such a spoiled girl, aren't you?" He nipped at my ear causing me to gasp. My lips parted in shock. "I'm not spoiled." I protested adamantly. "No? My girls not a whiny little brat who pouts until she gets her way?" Knox teased playfully. "I-I just didn't want you to be hungry." I defended weakly, a bit embarrassed from his observation. "Hmm my spoiled girl," He paused giving my neck a small squeeze before continuing, "such good manners." --- Annie has been fighting her entire life. Tired, worn down, effectively broken she had given up trying to fight. She was in most ways a complete shell of herself. Now in her senior year, she was forced to attend in person by her therapist which was the absolute last thing she wanted to do. Knox was always running. Running from his family, his friends, and his future. The only thing he wasn't willing to run from was her. Annie was his and he was going to make sure she knew it. US & UK Top 10 !!

Heather's life is the perfect definition of messy, though she carries more than she seems. Plus, having an unlivable sister such as Alana - who by the way has a crush on Eliott, life has no plans to be fair anytime soon. Eliott is that one hot, cute and handsome guy girls can't stop thinking about who somehow manages to get under Heather's skin every single chance he gets, despite Alana's existence. And though they've known each other since kindergarten, they spend most of their time arguing over nonsense. And now, as if sharing the same high school wasn't already enough, they are coworkers at a small coffee shop. Then comes a night. One unlucky night. When Eliott had the brilliant idea to crash his lips on Heather's during a lame game called 'Truth or Dare' at no one else but Alana's birthday. And that's when things start getting spicier - even dangerously complicated. .... "I really should go, now," I say as if something else - or rather someone, was holding me in this car. "Yeah," he mutters. "It's late. Eve will sue you if you don't show up in time." "Oh - so you're not...like...going to ask me to stay longer?" "Is that what you're waiting from me?" "No - yeah, but I mean...that's kind of your thing. You know...getting under my skin," I mutter. His hands tighten on the steering wheel and he stares back straight ahead. "The thought crossed my mind," he just let go smoothly. As if these words didn't cost anything to me. As if it didn't cost my sanity. "But if I let it win..." his voice goes low, rough, deep and honest. "I might not stop myself this time. And I fear that even this car wouldn't be enough to hold me." Then he turns to look at me again, his hands still unmoving. "If I ask you to stay, I won't take you home. Not even back to my place. I'll take you right here, in this car, on your seat or in the backseat if required. And I'll make sure to make you feel everything I feel right right now."
