An encounter i had i can never forget, even now i can see the flames of those eyes.
It was a cold winter night. The mechanical clicking of my bike suddenly stopped, darkness surrounding me.  I Was too scared to move, too scared to shout. My mind still processing the horror i had witnessed .Unfortunately, I was too busy thinking about what had happened  to realize the person cycling slightly behind me, the distinct sounds of footsteps climbing up the stairs.............All Rights Reserved

I'd always heard the voices. From being a young child when the doctors had long since given up trying to find a cause, the voices woke me, screaming, in the night. But then, they began to guide me. When I started to find the dead bodies - animals, children - I was called a psychic. I was used to help, but I could only find what the voices wanted to show me. But then, one day, the killer chose another victim. It chose me, and only the voices could save me. Except, they weren't just voices. They were.... - Whilst on a long (7.5) hour flight to Wattpad HQ in Toronto, I was watching the film Solace. Part way through, an idea threw itself into my mind and I had to stop the film and start writing immediately. I also had another idea later on, again which I had to write down. This is the first of those ideas and is written for the #OnceUponNow promotion. Don't worry, Red Queen is being worked on too, but sometimes you just need to purge yourself of a story to be able to continue on with another.

"That means you were the only one who destroyed my whole life!" She said to him with tears filled in her eyes. "You call other people heartless and what about you? Didn't you have a heart back then when you killed my love!" He shouted pinning her to the wall. "It's not my question's answer!" She told him looking into his eyes with red teary eyes. "You know it was my mistake to love a woman like you. You are same as other people selfish and murderer. Get out of my fucking life!" He shouted pushing her to the ground and make her fall onto the ground. "You hurted me too! And now there's no coming back. You killed my life! I HATE YOU FOR THIS!" My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."

And it has nothing to do with me being the one who can see him. But sometimes falling feels a lot like flying. And I don't know if I'm ready for either. Prompt 20: You finally build enough courage to talk to that cute someone you see every day on the bus. Their face turns dark as they respond "You shouldn't be able to see me."
