The Hearth's Descendant

What if Percy's parents were a little bit more complicated than what it seemed? What if there was a certain goddess wanted something, someone she could never have? What if Percy's story was completely different from the one we know.

This story explores all of that in more. Percy is the Hearth's Descendant, though not the way you might think. In fact, it's quite complicated and different. Of course Hestia could never actually have kids, but what if there was a way for her to have a son without getting pregnant? Without necessarily being the one to reproduce? What would that look like? How would it happen? And most importantly, what in Percy's story would change?
