Rosa gets banished into the maze for being a girl, and left to die. Although, that was one thing she plans not to do.

Rosa has dreams and memories of her old life, her life before the Glade, and she uses those dreams to help her survive the maze.

Of course, no one survives a night in the maze, but will she?
