Clay had feelings for his best friend.

That's the best way to put it, to come to terms with it. He has been pining over his friend for 4 god damn years. He hated to admit it, but everytime he looked at the boy butterflies soared in his stomach and he wished he could hold him.

He looked at George, and his breath got caught in his throat. He looked beautiful, of course, but even better as he was basked in moonlight. His face was lit up in all of the right places. His skin looked so soft, and for a second Clay actually considered stopping in the middle of the road to reach out and touch his cheek.

George would kill him, of course. So he settled for pining from afar, like always. Yearning to lean in, grab the others face, and kiss his lips. He swallowed thickly, instead focusing on his battered tennis shoes.

If George or Dream want this taken down at any time, I will. They have both stated they are comfortable and okay with shipping.

The Dream Team are planning to meet up in Florida, although Sapnap can't make it until a week after the planned date, forcing Dream and George be alone for the week. As the week passes, tension rises. George still believes that Dream only sees him as a friend, making him fearful to get too close and reveal his secret. Clay is traumatised by his past and becomes cold and emotionless, hurting himself to feel something while his life is filled with emptiness. His parents are hopeless and don't know how to help him anymore while he games all day and skips school. George struggles with an eating disorder and seeks help on the wrong sites, meeting a coach who is "eighteen" years old. George trusts him and ends up sending him pictures of himself without anything on, not realising the terrible effects of this. His escape is to game as well, meeting an emotionless person who appears to have a soft spot for him. Will they be able to help each other? George's best friend, Clay, is there the whole day for George and as George fights his battle against leukaemia, Clay supports him in every way possible. He shaves his head too and is there with George in all of his chemos. He buys George his favourite beanies and even let someone make one for him. But doctors start to lose hope of George ever getting better and since there is no match for a stem cell transplantation, there is only one person left to help him.
