Ymir and Krista don't exactly have the type of relationship you would think they have. Their 'friendship' is filled with sexual interactions between the two... yet Krista still convinces herself that she only does it for the pleasure and not for any other reason.
Ymir on the other hand... has had a crush on Krista for so long. The sexual encounters to her are not only for her pleasure... but because she wants to be with her.
