The Malfoys always wanted a boy, so when their first born was a girl, they were very disappointed. Astra was always abused because of this. She was never good enough for them. 4 years after she was born, her mother gave birth to a baby boy named Draco.
Astra was extatic to have a new baby brother to take care of. Even though Draco was a boy, they still implied the same rules for him except they didn't abuse him. Astra didn't mind that they abused her as long as they don't touch Draco.
