Jan: A beautiful young lady- with curves in all the right places, dark skin like chocolate, and perfectly sculpted cat eyes- who is no damsel in distress. In fact, she's no damsel at all, and definitely no troublemaker also -with a grim line for lips, fixed scowl on her face, even when she isn't wearing a scowl, and daggers for looks- who'd ever want to stir up trouble with a babe like that?
Eli: A dashingly handsome young man, who is no knight -since there's obviously no damsel- but just a friend -who was practically shoved into the friend- zone.
He's almost the opposite of Jan; with the sweetest smile, warmest hugs, rich laughter and most reasonable character.

"More" he demanded. "What's with the sudden interest?" Before he reacts I hastily added some joke to lighten the mood. "Knock, knock." He opens and then closed his mouth masking his surprise. "Who's there?" "Icy" I drawled. "ICY WHO?" He replied.
