Our paradise was shattered and now we are on a journey. We're finding ourselves in a new community but like our original paradise it won't last long unless we stop the evil that is rising...There's been a lot of tragedy and we've lost ones close to us. But we must fight on.

It's my thirteenth birthday. And though most people look forward to their birthday, I was dreading it. I am now the Five, which means I have as many years until I die, and it's down to me to figure out how to save myself and my friends. But we have bigger problems right now. The new Six has run away.
