Brenna James grew up hearing these stories, but she was one of the few who knew that the stories were true. She and her family were hunted for their gifts. They'd been hiding in the human realms her whole life. That is, until the day they'd finally been found. And, everything changed.
Brenna is whisked away to the realm of Vervale in the world of Crescent, a land of equal magic, malice, and danger. As she navigates a court of deception and secrets, Brenna battles between learning the truth about her history and building a home where she and her family will be safe in the future.
