A wise guy once said high school was like riding a bike except the bike was on fire, so was the ground as was everything else. Welcome to hell! Clearly, these words were as true as the moon waning for Lana Skyler when she was assigned for protection to the daughter of a high profile supplier of arms for the military. Going to school, something she'd not done before was already pressuring her and there were already subtle signs that it was going to be anything but a joyride. New people, new targets and new locations, everything put her on an edge since no other mission of hers was as difficult as this one. Add a pinch of friendship along the way, a healthy dose of betrayal and hurt and little stray emotions on the side and a whole lot of madness on the plate, you get high school.

"It's been awhile," I looked at him with a small smile. "What brings you back here? You're not here because you missed me, are you?" I raised my eyebrows and gave him a sly smirk. He didn't answer, clearly he wasn't in the mood to play. "Don't be shy, Agent, I missed you too," I tilted my head to the right, allowing the corners of my mouth to move upwards. He raised one eyebrow, still locked in his silence, still staring at me. I had had enough of his cold demeanor, he was the one who came to me. "Why are you here, Hotchner?" I asked. "It better not be because you have more questions about my father, because I'm not answering any more of those." I moved my head an inch forward, putting my entangled hands on the table, looking at him intently, making sure he understood. "I want you to work for me," the handsome man in the suit finally spoke. - This is a Criminal Minds story. I do not own Criminal Minds.
