"Who does he even think he is? My hair looks like a clown threw up on it!" I grumble angrily to myself. I probably looked crazy right now sitting in the office, waiting for the principle, with rainbow coloured hair and talking to myself all the while earning glares from the secretary.
"Marley, you know you look crazy? Talking to yourself? And the he you're talking about isn't jumping with happiness either you know? I, thanks to you, look like a typical grandpa complete with the white coloured hair." Jack says sitting down in the chair next to mine. I look over at him and I have to admit, I did do a pretty good job getting back at him.
That's how we worked. Jack being my brother's best friend at times and my worst enemy at all times.
"Marlowe Hastings, Jack Clifford, come on in you two." Mrs. Cliffton, the principle, says sighing while ushering us into her office.
