Liliana Black is certain of two things:
1.) Her family is cursed when it comes to love.
2.) Her Quileute tribe is hiding something.
The problem is she doesn't know how to fix the first, and she's not sure she wants to know the second.
After her Father's mysterious death, what matters most is getting off the reservation and away from her dysfunctional family where everything seems to revolve around her Grandpa Jacob's long lost love and the fact that he never actually had feelings for her grandma.
She's made a start of distancing herself by attending school at Forks High instead of on the rez. Things seem to be looking up...until the Cullens move to town. Why is she so drawn to the handsome, brooding Edward despite how cold he is to her?
Why does her Grandpa Jacob look like she's speaking about a ghost when she brings Edward up at dinner?
Thinking back, she should have left town with her big sister when she had the chance. But she won't be making the same mistake a second time.
