"No running through the hallway!" I yelled as two boys ran past me. "Yes Professor." They said as they slowed down. I smiled as I shook my head and continued walking towards my class. "Professor there are two kids fighting at the pool." Rogue , one of my students, said softly. "Thank you for telling me." I said with a smile. "What is going on?" I asked as I made it to the pool and saw Bobby and John fighting. "He started it." John growled out. "Well I'm finishing it, class now or I will send you to the Professor's office." I ordered. "Yes Professor." Bobby said as he walked away. I smiled as I shook my head and walked to my class. "Mom!" A voice yelled. I smiled as I turned to see my five year old daughter run up to me. "Hello Sweetheart, what are you up to?" I asked as I picked her up. "Running from papa." She said with a giggle. I smiled as I saw my husband of twenty years walking towards us.Complete

My own head still dizzy from the spin of memories he had shown me when he turned up to my door with two other men looking for my help. "I know that." He follows my statement with a shrug. "Just.. for when we do meet.. I don't want you to hold it against me that I didn't warn you." His confession rolling off his tongue with a shaky voice. "When we do meet.. Roar || The Gifted: John Proudstar
"I never thought that I'd see the day, when we would ever hear you roar again." ~~~~~ It had been years since they had seen each other. One enlisted in the military, the other became a licensed therapist. When one fell into a dark hole that seemed to consume them, the other was there to bring them back. They were always there for each other, even if they didn't have a clue how to help. Which was how they found each other again, when the Mutant Underground Network was crumbling to pieces all around them. As many would say, it was a fragile system indeed if a single group of mutants on their own could bring it all crashing down. ||Set in Marvel's "The Gifted" TV Show|| [] Pre-Season 1 - post Season 2 []Complete

The broken savior
My mother wasn't a mutant she wasn't born with the gift of evolution but she knew Charles Xavier from the past they shared. He ignored me at my mothers bequest due since mutants were a secret the majority of the world knew nothing about, she didn't want me in the institution. A week after my 9th birthday one night, I woke up to the smell of burning wood and furniture, I looked for my mother but saw a horror ill never forget a swirl of shadow had her in its hand. She was bleeding from her mouth and nose, when I went to help the shadow smacked me into the wall. My mom screamed in pain as I watched her turn into orange dust. The shadow spoke to me "Happiness is a lie. Life is horror. The light is always dying, all across the universe. The last star will flicker out someday. When it does, all that remains... shadow. And I will be its king, You have Xavier to thanks for this... " As it got closer I raised my hand and screamed a burning pain emanated from my hand and a bright light submerged the house... destroying 12 square blocks where were Xavier's X-men no where.
