Quackity walked over towards the gate, his footsteps finally being heard on dirt as he approached it. The gate was small enough to simply jump over, much to Quackity's inconvenience. He rolled up the sleeves of his button up, pushed back his beanie, and wiped the sweat off of his brow. He set his hands on the top of the iron blocks, when the door to the van swung open and none other than Wilbur Soot himself came down the steps. "Quackity!" He said, raising his hands in the air as if meeting an old friend for the first time in ages, "why, what do I owe the pleasure?" Quackity's eye twitched as his frown curled deeper into itself. He wasn't having this. (3RD BOOK TO "ASHES OF LAVENDERS" SO READ THAT BOOK FIRST AND THE 2ND BOOK, "BLUE") Quackity tries love again with other people. That didn't end up well... He couldn't have Wilbur, nor Ghostbur. He gives up on love the day him and his fiances split up. What Quackity didn't know was... Wilbur was alive. But Quackity still doesn't forgive Wilbur for what he's done. Wilbur on the other hand. Loves how Quackity has changed and is still deeply inlove with him. He would do anything for Quackity's love. Wilbur isn't going to give up. "Quackity?" I spin around, tackling him and tumbling roughly into the wall behind us. I pin his wrist down, tears dropping onto his soon-to-be crimson shirt. I can almost see the blood seeping out of the wounds I intend to slice into his skin. His pupils dilate as he clutches the dagger's hilt before it meets the vulnerable flesh of his neck. "Quackity drop the fucking knife," Wilbur hisses, gritting his teeth. My eyes widen as my grip loosens on the blade and his wrist, the knife clattering out of my grasp as I stare at him. I dip down, sensing the tension hovering between us, feeling his heart hammer against his ribcage. From where sit straddling his waist, I see his face soften at the sight of my dishevelment. "What are you so afraid of?" he whispers gently. * * * Synopsis: Behind closed doors, a casino isn't all glittering lights and card games. It's made of traitors and cheaters... Quackity has always stood in other's shadows, cast out from countries, betrayed by those whom he loved, and laughed at by those whom he thought he could trust.
