When Mathan had been asked suddenly by Alastair to take over his duties for the day as he hastily rode off to Edinburgh on the King's command, he had expected nothing out of the ordinary to happen in the usually peaceful town of Ayrshire but when a red haired Vixen blows into their sleepy town anger directed at his cousin over an arranged marriage they all knew nothing about, he knew he would have his hands full keeping the town together.
