Sinubukan niyang buksan ang mga pahinang mala-kapeng kulay at nabasa niya ang pangungusap na, "Ang isip mo ang tanging sandata at ang kayamana'y sayo ipipinta." Mga ilang sandali lamang ay bahagyang bumukas ang isang tagong pinto sa kanyang kaliwa na may pangalan sa itaas na D'entr Disa-Cruz.
Naghalo ang kanyang pananabik at takot subalit gusto niya ng thrill kahit lubos na ipinagbabawal ng kanyang magulang ang kanyang paglilibot doon. He then quickly took the book with him and ushers towards the door without hesitation.

Laking pagtataka niya ngunit may gusto siya sanang itanong sa dalaga subalit nagpatuloy ang paglalakad nito patungo sa loob ng isang gusali.
Ano kaya ang susi na gagampanan ng dalagang iyon at bakit nasa kanya ang librong tungkol sa kanyang pamilya? Matatamasa na kaya niya ang kanyang simpleng pangarap?
