Logan and his bandmates had just finished with their concert and were on their way to the next location when they were in a horrible accident. Logan's bandmates were injured and released days later, but he remained in a coma. After being in a coma for months, his family didn't think he was getting any better and decided they were going to pull the plug, until his nurse Bodhi, refused to let that happen, and removed him from the hospital before they could. Bodhi was seeing signs of him getting better, and couldn't see anyone wanting to take his life away. She felt he would regain consciousness on his own, and knew she had to save him. In the middle of the night, before his family were set to pull the plug, she was able to sneak him out of the hospital, and drove to a cabin she had rented for the rest of the summer, hoping she could save his life. There was something about him that drew her to him, she thought about him when she wasn't working, and whenever she was in the hospital working with him, she could feel her heart growing attached to him. The Girls with the Flame Tattoos
In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper.
