All Holly Hemmings wanted was a quiet summer. One where she could finish her Harry Potter fanfiction, stay in her room all day, and not have to interact with people in general.

Her adoptive parents, on the other hand, think that Holly’s reclusive tendencies are… well, undesired in their new addition to the family.

So the summer of Holly’s 17th year, they ship her off to Clearwater Creek Summer Camp with her adoptive brother, Luke, hoping to get her out of her shell and make some new friends.

It wouldn’t have been too bad, either...

If only that damn Ashton Irwin kid could stay out of her cabin.

A story about adaptation, random adventures in the woods, a couple very stupid decisions, the worst s’more maker in all of history, love in the most annoying places, and a bond created between two very different people.

❝It starts with a fairy casting a spell this one's on Ashton, who you'll come to know well❞ Ashton was given a special 'gift' when he was only a few days old, the 'gift' of obedience. He has never been in love, never had friends and is content to keep it that way until a friendly girl in his class decides she wants to be his friend. Then Ashton has to come to terms with trusting those around him, maintaining his first friendships and managing his first real crush. ❝A fairy tale reveals certain truths, the dangers of choices we are given in youth, but this story is different in thread for our hero had no choice, or that's the story that spread. ❞ - Based on the film Ella Enchanted - |cover by @nicockla|
