Izuru Kamukura/Hajime Hinata is getting along with Nagito Komaeda ever since he rescued him from the comma he was in in the Neo World Program. Sadly, things aren't turning out the way they've hopped it would, Hajime having to deal with trauma from the past, and Nagito's condition getting increasingly bad by the day.

But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy.
