Once upon a time, I was your typical good girl, doing my job like a total elf star, no complaints. Even with the little "gift" I was born with (aka my disability), I handled life pretty well. But let me tell you, luck's never been my plus-one. What am I talking about? Oh, just my lovely name-and the Christmas curse that comes with it! Every year, without fail, while my family's out decking the halls, I'm over here getting snowed under with the worst disasters. So, yeah, all I want for Christmas is for this nightmare of a season to be over. But this year? Oh, I've really hit the Christmas tree topper. Ever since I plopped myself down on Santa's lap at my office party and made a special wish, it's been one yule disaster after another! And now, I'm stuck in this sleigh ride from hell with that red-suited nightmare, forced to follow him wherever he jingles. Sure, he might be a total angel under that fake beard-mysterious and all-but I'm not about to let myself get wrapped up like some Christmas present under the tree. My brain's still in one piece, thanks. Usually, people Carol's age are getting married, buying their first house, getting their first pet, etc. Her younger sister's doing all that. Good for her right? And she's doing it with Carol's ex. It has been a year since they broke up and he has been with her sister ever since and well, I'm sure you can guess the tea for that one. But it's Christmas time so 'tis the season to be jolly. She'll be seeing her two favorite people at the family reunion. Where she has promised everyone that she has happily moved on, and has someone to introduce to the family... except- she doesn't. During a trip to the grocery store, she bumps into one of the finest men she saw, which wasn't through her phone screen. So, obviously her first reaction was to ask him to be her plus one for the family reunion and to pretend that they're a couple. He Agrees! On the condition that she'll help him become Santa Claus? Weird but she agrees to do exactly that. Nick keeps claiming that he's Santa Claus's Son and that there's this whole Christmas wonderland where people compete to be Santa...she just goes with it. Christmas-it's the most wonderful time of the year. Who couldn't agree with that? Gathered together in front of the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate and embrace the warmth of each other presence, goofing around with the loved one, decorated the Christmas tree. Oh, what a wonderful time of the year. Everybody was busy preparing their trip to come home for Christmas, so did the Gables. The huge family of nine either live in different cities or busy with work. But that's not just it. Everything seemed to block them for coming home for Christmas. James once told that he would be the first home from his three other siblings. But his fate said otherwise. The twins had urgent project to finish. Alexander, well he was trying to have a little time for himself away from residency. Along the way, they created a history that would never be forgotten. The bad luck that hit James turned out to be a Christmas joy. The twins' urgent project was a great success and became the turning point for their band's career.
