Gods of Death Want Life
Wrote part of this back in 2013. It is a companion to the canon and completed it Feb 2021 and EDITED better June 2021. Still not fully edited, but I loved reading it again and again. It's ending is supposed to be a cliff hanger to a potential spin off series I have been writing for years which follows the First Triumvirate, BEFORE Caesar becomes Dictator for life. It's year 211 AD and Rome is under the of rule of two tyrant twin emporers- Geta and Caracalla. Y/N, a warrior, is taken as prisoner of war only to end up in one of the most famous structures in the world fighting as a gladiator- the colosseum. As she fights her ways through the games she catches the eye of someone and an unexpected romance flourishes. However there is a secret waiting to be discovered about her bloodline which not only puts her in harms way but forces her lover to make a very devastating choice. The roaring sound of the crowd drummed her ears as she sat in her seat, hands gripping the sides tightly as her eyes remained on the scene in front of her. What was once two men fighting was now one holding his blooded sword up in complete victory, a beaming smile on his face as those in the colosseum cheered more. She looked to her side, her husband to be with a blank expression on his face. His eyes remained locked in front of him, unamused as usual. She darted her eyes away from him, closing them quickly not wanting to look at the man to whom she was just an accessory too. But the sound seemed to simmer down, the feeling of someone staring at her ever growing on her senses, without thinking her eyes snapped towards the emperors who were sat in large chairs surrounded by the Praetorian guards. His eyes on hers. // After being sold away for a marriage between herself and a very much older member of the senate, Cecilia must find away to push forwards and reach the positives in her life that seemed to be drained away from her ever since she was sold away to live in Rome with a man she will not and does not love. But things begin to take a turn when a certain emperor makes his way present in her life, almost as if he lifted the positivity into her life.Concluida

The Emperor's Daughter
Aurelia hates the arena. She hates the gladiators, she hates the animal fights, the blood, the guts, the glory. She avoids the violence by staying away from the Colosseum until the day she decides to try and save a few lives from dying in the arena. It's there that she meets Caius. Caius loves the arena. As a gladiator he loves the cutthroat challenge of it, the comradeship of the men, the honor of fighting for his country. His desire is to fight as long as he can and when he has nothing else to offer, to go out in a blaze of glory under the open sky of the arena. It's there that he meets Aurelia. When Caius is assigned to be Aurelia's new guard, he's more than distraught about no longer being a gladiator. Aurelia isn't too fond of the idea either considering the giant of a man represents everything she dislikes about the gladiator fights. When Venus' wind grazes both of them and disdain turns to desire, both find arrangement rather to their benefit. A romance between a gladiator and an emperor's daughter is no match for marriage though, putting them both at risk when Venus pulls them together. Doomed from the start Caius and Aurelia will have to decide just how much they're willing to risk and just which door they're willing to walk through to find what they desire on the other side.Concluida
