This was my chance. I the great Josh Qunicy was about to lock lips with the hottest girl in school. Many emotions rushed through my mind. It was like Someone took a bucket full of "The Feels" and dumped it all over me. I looked deep into her green eyes, the longer I stared the more mesmerized I became. That's when I decided..This is it. Now or never right? I slowly brought my head in towards hers. I could feel the nerves.. Slowly leaving me as I became closer and closer to her until our lips met. It was amazing.. Like someone shot fireworks out of my heart.. And I knew this was more than just a normal girl friend. I wanted to be with her, everyday, second, and minute for the rest of my life.-

That night I couldn't sleep. I was dreaming with my eyes open. Reliving the kiss over and over again, and the strange thing.. I never lost that feeling In my heart. It stayed as I lie awake. Only hoping she felt the same...

"How many romance books do you read?" Devin asks me. I shrug. "I like them," I say. I keep browsing, running my fingers along the spines. "So, you like romance then?" he asks me. I nod. "What's your favorite part of a love story?" "I like the very first kiss, but I like the second one even more," I say. I bite my lip and look at him. Oh. My. God. What the hell am I doing? Am I flirting? I think that I'm actually flirting. With Devin. Devin, my best friend. I have officially lost my mind. I should probably stop. But I can't seem to. "Will you grab me that one?" I ask. I point above my head, my back's pressed against the bookcase. He locks his gaze on mine and reaches over me to grab the book I asked for. "Thanks." I don't move and neither does he. Riley and Devin have been best friends forever-since Kindergarten. It's Senior year of high school, now. And it's always been simple, Riley's got his back, he's got hers. But as life goes on Riley can't help but wonder if maybe he's not just her best friend, if she likes him as possibly something more. As her feelings deepen and become something greater it becomes more evident that she's falling, really hard. No matter how hard Riley tries she can't stop falling, she can't stop from loving him. Max moved closer to me until his face was right in front of mine. "You're saying you don't think about me?" He smirked, fully knowing what the proximity was doing to me. "I don't, why? Did you want me to?" I Regained my composure as I moved even closer, our lips nearly touching. ~~~ Alexa is a normal girl who just wanted to get through school without any trouble. She didn't want any attention. She just wanted to leave those nightmares behind, forgetting what happened before. However, all of that changes when her mum gets married and she's forced to move to a new city. Leaving everything behind, she hopes to blend in and go to university but life has other plans. In the woods, lurking in the shadows is someone who can't stay away and will definitely ruin all of Alexa's plans and change her life showing her that things aren't always as they seem. How can two people that hate each other be mates? To add to the mix, parties, late night discussions and a school trip is sure to add drama to her life. "Okay, you know what? You're such a jackass and I never should have kissed you," I say. Colton stands up. His green eyes are just as angry as mine are. "Then why did you?" he asks. "I don't know!" He rubs the back of his neck where the M&M's hit him. "You wanna talk? Fine. Let's talk," Colton says. "You're obviously messed up from all of the shit your mom did." "Maybe I am! It's not your fucking business!" I pause. "Why do you even care? You're just some manwhore, right? A fuckboy?" Colton laughs dryly. "Is that what you think I am?" he asks. He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I um," Every word I had learned from pre-school to now had just flew out of my mind and left me speechless. "I should go."
